Newsletter 2 : 11/12/25 Re-opening Thoughts

Hello beautiful friends,

I’m overjoyed to share that our shop is now open!

As I was organizing all the jars and bottles on my shelf, now filled and ready to find their new homes. My eyes welled with tears. I had a moment of deep pride and gratitude for this little apothecary for what it’s been, and what it’s becoming.

I flashed back to July, when I closed my shop. My heart was so heavy with grief, surrounded by boxes of herbs and supplies I wasn’t sure I’d ever open again. And yet here we are. The boxes have been unpacked in a new place, in a new state, and somehow what once has transformed into something entirely new.

I sit here in awe of all that has unfolded between then and now. As I look out my window, I’m reminded that everything in this world is always being recycled and renewed. The leaves outside are rotting into the soil, they’ll nourish the earth through autumn and winter, and by spring, a whole new array of plants will rise. Others will face a season of returning to the earth again to feed the cycle.

Whenever I question the path behind me, or the one ahead, I look to Mother Earth. She is our wisest teacher. She reminds me that loss is a neutral, and natural part of life. From what fades, new gardens may grow… or the soil will rest for a while. Either way, our task is to give thanks for what is here now because inevitably, it will change again.

So, this is my moment of thanks.
Thanks to all that was lost, for nourishing the soil that allows this new chapter to bloom.
Thanks to my family, friends, and community for your unwavering support.
Thanks to the teachers who’ve guided me gently
Thanks to the Earth that is always beneath my feet.
Thanks to me, for continuing on when it felt impossible.
Thanks to these beautiful plants, that offer their medicine so kindly for us to work with.

I invite you to take a moment of gratitude too, and if you feel called, I’d love to hear about your moment of thanks, just hit reply <3

This is only the beginning of From Earth and Eden. Potions are brewing in my heart. Herbs are infusing in oils on my windowsill. Bottles lie waiting to be filled. Working with plants is one of the greatest gifts of my life and sharing them with you comes in a close second.

I hope you find something here that you love and then share it with someone you love.

As an expression of my gratitude, please enjoy 20% off your order. Code: EDEN20. A reminder that where you place your dollar this season truly matters. From Earth and Eden is a small business, no team, just one woman with a dream, a handful of herbs, and a heart that longs to experience every wonder and ache of this life. To sit with plants. To listen. To share.

With love and blessings,
Mary From Earth and Eden
